ARLINGTON -- Albert John Weis, 84, of Arlington died Monday afternoon at the VA hospital in Dallas. Graveside Service: 10 a.m. Friday in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home. The World War II veteran served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific. He retired from Bell Helicopter in Hurst after 37 years of employment. He was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington. Memorials may be made to THE NAME OF THE PLACE AND ADDRESS THAT YOU WILL CHOOSE. Al is survived by; brother, Walter; sister, Florence; son, Mike Weis and his wife Shirley; stepsons, Larry Byers and John Byers; stepdaughters, Mary McCoy and Jane Byers; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
