Allie was born on August 8, 1936, in Chester, Mississippi, to Avery L. and Ida Dennie Tullos. She was one of three daughters and was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Alice Faye Tullos Black, her twin, and Eva Lee Tullos Prewitt.
On July 17, 1956, Allie married Robert Franklin Woods Jr. in Dallas, Texas. They shared 17 years of marriage before his passing. Allie was a devoted mother to Michael Deen Woods, who preceded her in death, and Tenya Woods Tallon.
Allie lived a life rooted in Scripture and prayer. She read through the entire Bible many times and treasured God’s Word daily. Her calling as a registered nurse was a reflection of her servant’s heart. She cared for others with compassion, patience, and dedication. She also found joy in reading and cooking and had a special love for owls, a little delight that brightened her days.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tenya and Joe Tallon, and by her grandchildren: Amanda (Michael) Scott, Robert-Michael Woods, and Carly (Mitch) Wofford.
