Barbara Ann Hitt, age 80 of Pantego, TX, passed away, March 14, 2018 from complications of heart disease. She was born on February 18, 1938 in Waxahachie, TX to Truman and Ruby Davis. She graduated from Polytechnic High School. She married Charles Melvin Hitt on July 22, 1955, he preceded her in death on September 6, 2013 (they celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary shortly before his death). Barbara retired from AISD on July 10, 1996. She was an active member of Bridgewood Church of Christ.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Kevin Hitt and wife Jeannie and Chris Hitt and wife Kristi; grandchildren, Marshall, Makenzie, Madison, Tyler and Kayla and great grandchild, Grayson, Olivia, and Raegan.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 10:00 AM, Moore Funeral Home . A committal service will follow the service on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, Moore Memorial Gardens,1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas.
