Barbara worked as a truck driver for 30 years and retired from Yellow Freight. She enjoyed the road and those that she met along the way.
In her earlier years, she enjoyed ballroom dancing and was a dance instructor at Arthur Murray Dance Studio.
She was always a person on the go. In her downtime, she enjoyed arts and crafts, along with camping, fishing and the outdoors.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her son, Bob Underwood (Kathleen); and her sister Shirley Connor (Jerry); as well as many friends.
She was preceded in death by 5 siblings, John, Dorothy, William “Travis”, James “Ray” and Orville.
She will be missed dearly.

A visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. with a committal service to immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, Texas.
