

Bill Mui Nguyen, 81, of Arlington, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on November 10, 2025. Born in My Tho, Vietnam, Bill lived a life marked by resilience, sacrifice, and deep devotion to his family. A former military man in Vietnam, Bill endured tremendous challenges before making the brave decision to leave his homeland in search of freedom and a better life. Through courage and perseverance, he built a new beginning in the United States and made it possible for his family to join him, fulfilling his greatest wish of giving his children opportunities he never had.
For many years, Bill worked as a custodian, quietly and tirelessly providing for those he loved. He gave everything of himself without complaint, always putting his family first. His strength, humility, and unwavering sense of responsibility were constants in the lives of those who knew him best.
Behind his firm and disciplined nature was a kind and generous heart. He expressed love through action, through the sacrifices he made, the lessons he taught, and the example he set. His presence was steady and protective, a source of comfort and strength for his family.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy Phuong Tran, his children Tram Anh Nguyen, Anh Thu Nguyen, Anh Tu Nguyen, Anh Tuan Nguyen, and Ann Chi Nguyen. His legacy of courage, perseverance, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Funeral and memorial services will be held at The Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church in Arlington, Texas. Arrangements are entrusted to Moore Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
