On July 1st, 1950 in Ft. Worth, TX, Bill was born to E.G. and Geraldine Jane Kiblinger. He was raised in Alvarado, TX along side his twin younger siblings, Don and Donna. He attended Alvarado High School where he thrived in academia and athletics. He graduated at the top of his class and received a full athletic scholarship to play basketball at Paris Junior College. From there, he went on to UTA where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government.
On November 21, 1972, he married Sherry Ralph and they moved to Arlington, TX. Around this time also, Bill began working at Texas Industries, now Martin-Marietta, as a Chemist in Research and Development; a career that spanned over 40 years. Bill and Sherry loved to travel together, ride their motorcycles, and share in the love of rock music, ranging to everything from The 13th Floor Elevators to Zeppelin, they attended many concerts of the greats
In January of 1984, they welcomed their only child, Erica Nicole. Bill took up many of the same interests of his daughter: he was a Girl Scout leader, a runner/jogger that did many road races with his daughter, including the Cowtown 10K. He played disc golf with his daughter and son-in law. He fished a lot with his father, daughter and son-in law for the majority of his life. He loved his walks with his oldest granddaughter, and she sure did as well. The twins loved playing I the back of his pick- up and the McDonalds he brought with him. Elena will keep his memories alive with the twins with retelling of priceless ad cherished memories. He loved watching soccer and seemed to love more yelling at the referees (justifiably). He always loved to retell the story of being asked to leave one of Erica's high school games
They found their forever church home in Woods Chapel Baptist Church in November 1993. On April 9, 1995, Bill became a Deacon. He and Sherry both really love their Sunday School. One if Bills greatest passions was coin-collecting; his mother introduced him to it at a young age. An avid life-long Numismatic, he was active in two coin clubs and attended coin shows regularly, many times with his brother Don.
In November of 2022 , Bill and Sherry celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary, exhibiting 50 years of love, commitment, and lots of laughter together-their marriage is truly a testament.
