He was born on April 9th 1955 in Shreveport Louisiana, and lived in Mansfield Louisiana until the age of 12 when his family moved to Houston Texas. He passed away on November 24th 2021 in Arlington Texas.
Fred was a kind and selfless man, who held so much love in his heart for all of his friends and family. He was a devout man of God, and was an integral part of Pleasantview Baptist’s congregation.
He was a talented dentist who served his community for 32 years. He was a skilled outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and enjoying the peace and quiet he found on his deer ranch.
Fred was taken from us too soon, but we take comfort in knowing that he is home with the Lord, and is reunited with his father, Cecil Jumel Turner, his mother, Cathleen Bankston Turner, and his grandson, Kyler Turner.
He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Turner, and his four children: His son Robert and wife Brandy Scott, son Rick and wife Amanda Turner, daughter Kayla and husband Jonathan Scott, and son James and wife Candice Scott.
His grandchildren: Shanda, Chase, Madison, Weston, Benjamin, and Owen. And all the fortunate people who were considered family.
Fred loved and was loved by many, and he will be missed by us all.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pleasantview Baptist church Youth Fund or the Senior Fund.
