Clarence was born in Odem on June 26, 1926. He married Wanda Bollinger on Dec. 28, 1954. He had a career in the aviation industry for 40 years, including 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and 20 years at LTV in aircraft quality control.
Clarence was a member of Meadow Lane Baptist Church and had passions for family, gardening, hunting and fishing.
Survivors: His wife of 59 years, Wanda; daughter, Deborah Long and her husband, Stanley; son, Stephen Hughes and his wife, Pat; daughter, Melinda Andric and her husband, Tony; grandchildren, Traci Long and Marc Long; great-grandchildren, Hailee Dyer, Jackson Long and Ava Long.
