Colvin was born to Colvin and Jewel Hill, September 24, 1937 in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He graduated from Irving High School in 1956 and attended Arlington State College for 2 years. Colvin served 35 years as a warehouseman at Affiliated Foods and then 15 years for Medco.
Service: A funeral service will be held for Colvin, Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. in the Moore Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a graveside immediately following the service in the Moore Memorial Gardens, entombment to follow. Visitation will be held, Friday, February 1, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Moore Funeral Home.
Survivors: Colvin is survived by his sons: Tommy Hill and wife Susie, and Travis Hill and wife Megan; daughter, Carmen Torrez and husband Paul; brother, Burton Hill and wife Nancy; niece Amanda Conway and husband Tyler; grandchildren, Reed Hayden Gallagher, Leslie Marie Hill, Tyra Monae Hill, and Carlee Teresa Briere.
