Connie Rochelle Boykin

Connie Rochelle Boykin, 92, of Ft Worth, Texas, passed away on March 10, 2026. Connie was a patient, thoughtful, gentle, and compassionate woman whose steady presence brought comfort to those who knew and loved her.

Born October 1, 1933, Connie grew up in Ft. Worth, Texas, where she attended and graduated from Polly Tech High School.

Connie worked as a secretary for over 20 years at various place and enjoyed her work.

Connie had four beautiful children that she adored. Connie married Dan Boykin on May 10,1968 and had a very blessed marriage.

Connie enjoyed being in the yard gardening and surrounded by flowers. She loved to shop, especially at Stein Mart, and she was a devoted woman of God. Connie also liked cooking for her family; her kids remember fondly coming home from school to fresh homemade fried pies.

Her family and friends will remember Connie as an easy-going, mellow, patient woman. Her legacy lives on through those whose hearts she touched.

Connie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dan Boykin; daughter, Diane Blankenship; sisters, Martina Dent and Helen O'Dell; brother, Sonny O'Dell; and her Parents Roy and Pauline O'Dell.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Belinda Korta and husband Ed, Tommie Petito, and Kevin Blankenship and wife Sheila; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012, on March 19, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012, on March 20, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

A Committal Service will be held at Moore Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1219 N Davis Dr, Arlington, TX 76012, on March 20, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
