Daniel was born on January 25, 1961 to Ronald King and Sharon Kepka King in Pontiac, Michigan. He attended Lapeer West High school in Lapeer, Michigan as well as Davison High School. On November 30, 1979, he married Pamela Wood. Then, on January 16, 1988, he married Mary King.
Daniel worked in construction and carpentry for most of his life. He also worked for electric companies, tree services, cherry picking, fundraising, etc.
Daniel loved to hunt, fish, build things, and do his woodwork. He also loved his motorcycles, playing the harmonica, collecting nic nacs, as well as making copper jewelry and modules. Above all, Daniel cherished being a father.
Daniel is survived by his daughters: Hailey Lillian King, Harley Gene King, and Jasmine Marie Moore; his grandkids: Gage and Sonny Higgins, Avery Simmons, Eathan M., Julian Daniel Dysart (King), Aleena King, Alizee King, and Abel Ferro; and his siblings: Randy Scott King and Gina Renay King.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Madison Louise King; his brother, Mark Alan King; and his grandmother, Janette Awrey.
