David Lynn Howard

David graduated from Tascosa High School in Amarillo, TX. He married the love of his life Mary Ellen Howard on July 11, 1969. They had two children, Jennifer and Brent Howard. David loved his family and grandchildren.

He spent his career working for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad as a dispatcher for 35 years. In his free time, he enjoyed photography, computers and trains.

David is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Howard; Daughter, Jennifer Lynn Howard; Son, Brent David Howard (Martha Elena); Grandchildren, Aaron Hutts, Samuel Brent Howard and Isaiah Leon Howard; Sister, Ramona Slover (Ronald).

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Horace Howard and Callie Grace Watson Howard; Sister, Jeannene Van Druff.

Services to Celebrate the Life of Mr. David Howard will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Moore Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Drive Arlington, TX 76012. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home. Burial will follow the services on Saturday in Moore Memorial Gardens.
