Diana Lavonne Allen

Diana Lavonne Allen, a beloved and thoughtful woman, passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on August 16, 1939, in Kingsville, Texas, Diana was a patient individual whose presence brought joy to those around her.

Raised in Kingsville, Diana attended and graduated from Kingsville High School in 1956. She went on to have a distinguished career as an executive secretary, dedicating more than 25 years to Grand Prairie ISD before retiring.

In 1982, Diana married her beloved Elmo Allen, and they shared many happy years together until his passing. She was the loving mother of three children and cherished the time spent with her family.

Diana had a vibrant personal life, enjoying time with her sorority sisters and attending alma mater events. She loved traveling to Aruba and found great joy in these adventures.

Her personal qualities left a lasting legacy. Diana was a happy, loving, and caring woman whose smile could light up any room. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmo Allen, her sons Daniel Dietrich and Darold Dietrich, her brother Roger Marshall, and her parents Harold and Effie Marshall.

A visitation will be held on December 18, 2025, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, located at 5851 New York Ave, Arlington, TX 76018. A memorial service will follow from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the same location. The committal service will take place at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211, from 1:00 pm to 1:15 pm.

Diana Lavonne Allen will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
