

Don was a loving and committed husband, father and grandfather. He was born in Oxford, England, on Oct. 30, 1926. He and his young family moved to Arlington in 1961 where he worked for Bell Helicopter as a metallurgical engineer for 26 years. He will fondly be remembered by his friends and family for his love of family and zeal for adventure.
Don was an avid and accomplished photographer who won many accolades through the Fort Worth Camera Club where he was an active member for many years. Don's passion for photography, world travel and engaging conversation took him on many great adventures around the globe where he expertly captured beautiful scenery, world culture, and intriguing people in his photographs.
Survivors: He is forever remembered by his wife, Angela Dashfield; brother, Christopher Dashfield and family of Northampton, England; daughter, Sheila and husband, Michael Banker, of Canon City, Colo.; grandchildren, Jennifer and husband, Stephen Verwers, of Denver, Colo., Jonathan Banker and wife, Amy, of Canon City, Colo., and Patrick Banker of Fort Collins, Colo.
