Don was born on December 17, 1938, in Frankston, TX, the son of Don and Lula Mae Manning who preceded him in death. He was married to his loving wife Patsy Petrek on July 2, 1959 and they were married for 64 years.
Don is survived by his wife, Patsy, daughters Donna Manning (Lori) and Denise Tucker (Leroy): grandchildren, Garrett Tucker and Chase Tucker: sister Reba Kinslow, a niece and several nephews.
He is preceded in death by sisters, Christine Blanton, Mary Jane Higginbotham and brother Roy Manning. Don retired from Vought Aerospace in August 1992 after 30 years of service.
