Donna graduated from Paschal High School and received a bachelor's degree from Baylor University. Donna had an amazing career as an elementary school educator teaching various grades for Whitney ISD, Castleberry ISD, and Fort Worth ISD before retiring.
She was loved by so many, always knew how to make you laugh, and was always there to give you sound advice. She reached countless children with her ability to bring excitement into the classroom, expanding the lessons so every child reached their potential. She loved to travel, was famous for her beautiful home-made bows, and never needed an excuse to have fun. Donna enjoyed listening to country crooners such as Willie Nelson or Marty Robbins and watching her Dallas Cowboys, at least until they let Jason Witten leave! One of her favorite childhood memories was watching wrestling with her father, being one of the first families on their block with a television set.
Donna is survived by her son, Keven Wright; her daughter, Lisa Walter; her sister, Karla Kirkpatrick; her grandchildren: Russell Brody Walter, Mikaila Brielle Kaiser, Jaron Wright, Collin Wright, and Kristen Austin; and five great-grandchildren.
