She was preceded in death by her husband, James N. Cawthon, parents, John S. and Johnnie L. Smith, brother Joseph W. Smith, and grand-daughter Lisa Kay Hicks.
Dorothy is survived by daughters Karan K. Sills and Bud Sills of Arlington and Lynda S. Bryant of Lancaster, Texas; sister Mary Imogene Snodgrass of Brady, Texas; Grandchildren Kimberly and Steve Carpenter and Stephen and Susan Hicks all of Flower Mound, Texas; and Great grandchildren Tyler, Kami and Haley Carpenter and Matthew and Morgan Hicks.
Graveside services will take place at 3pm on Monday, October 19, 2015, at Crandall Cemetery in Crandall, Texas. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Stephen Hicks, Steve Carpenter, Tyler Carpenter, Matthew Hicks, Bud Sills, and Joe Dale Smith.
