

Edward James Copp passed away peacefully February 26, 2016 at the age of 75. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 5, 2015 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas.
Ed was born in Morris, Illinois on January 29, 1941. At the young age of 17, Ed entered the military and was proud to serve this great nation as a U.S. Marine. After his service he met and married the love of his life, Sandy Shores. Ed went on to become a firefighter with the Wilmette Fire/Rescue in Wilmette, Illinois. He and Sandy moved to Texas where Ed became a District Manager for Color Tile for many years. Ed and Sandy opened up a retail sporting goods store that thrived for 20 years. Sandy preceded him in death in 2008. After retiring Ed enjoyed his laughs, friends, and his family.

Survivors include three daughters, Kimberly Osterman, Kelly Pollard and Kristy Farris, grandchildren, Mollie, Michael, Matthew, Samantha, Emily, Maddy, Hannah, and great-grandson Chance Nathan Maki, , nephew, Rusty Locke and two sisters-in-law, Avis Weber, and Sharon Shores.
