

Frank Falvo, 90, of Arlington, Texas, passed away December 2, 2017 at 12:48 am at Medical City of Arlington. He was born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania on March 6, 1927. He enlisted in the Navy March 17, 1944 and served on the U.S.S. Missouri (BB-63) as a seaman first class during World War II. He continued to serve until after the signing of the Treaty with Japan, which he had the honor of attending. He was married to Alice McCann Falvo in 1948 and was married for 57 years, until she passed in 2005. He retired from American Can Company as a Supervisor in Arlington, Texas.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Ralph Falvo, Louise Monge Luzzo, Gene Falvo, Pat Falvo, Sara Falvo, Katherine Falvo; son Robert Falvo, wife Alice McCann Falvo
He is survived by son Charles Falvo of Arlington, daughter Carol Falvo Pierce (Phillip Ray Pierce) of Arlington, granddaughter Melissa Pierce (Heather Conklin) of Fort Worth, grandson Cory Falvo (Chelsey) of Mansfield; sisters Jennie Ambrisco of Connellsville, PA and Mary Trout of Wilkesboro, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Frank will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church of Arlington, Texas. An interment will occur at Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington, Texas.
