George Roth Donovan, Jr, 70, of Arlington passed away August 6, 2013. He was born in Sebring, Florida on February 28, 1943. “Geep” graduated from Grand Prairie High School and received his BA from UTA and M.E.D from The University of North Texas. George was married to Darlene Sakowski on July 24, 1969. He had a career in teaching for 25 years with Arlington ISD. George was a member of Arlington Chamber of Commerce and had a passion for hot sauce and salsa and helping organizations with fundraisers.
He is survived by wife, Darlene Sakowski Donovan; children, Colin Matthew and Caitlin Mariah; brothers, Mark, Kevin, Tim and Terry.
A memorial mass will be held at 9:30 am, August 10, 2013 at Moore Funeral Home on Davis Drive.
