Gregory Charles Key

Services for Gregory Charles Key, 67, of Arlington will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 4, 2015 in Moore Funeral Home Chapel with his son, Pastor Gregory Key officiating. Private family burial will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas. Mr. Key went to be with his Lord on Monday, June 1, 2015 in Arlington, Texas.

Gregory Charles Key was born July 14, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Dennis Gregory Key and Mayda Elizabeth Small Key. He married Mary Roslyn Marzonie on February 4, 1966 in Fort Worth, Texas. They made their first home in Arlington, where he became a lifelong resident. He was a carpenter by trade and a business owner of Key’s Hoods.

He enjoyed fishing and spent many pleasurable hours at Arlington Lake waiting to bring home that prize catfish. In later years he thoroughly enjoyed crafts and activities with the grandkids.

Mr. Key was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother Garry Key who passed away February 22, 2011.

Survivors include three children; Gregory Key and his wife Lori of Arlington, Shawn Key of Arlington and Carie Key- Johannsen and her husband Travis of Denton, and three grandchildren, Landan Key, Allyson Johannsen and Caleb Johannsen.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to their local hospice.
