Gretchen Marie Pease

Gretchen Marie Bauer Pease, of Arlington, Texas went home to the Lord on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the age of 87. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday, November 4, 2016, 6:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Gretchen Marie Bauer was born June 27, 1929 in Trinidad, Colorado to Ray C. Bauer and Sylvia Marty Bauer. She was a graduate of Miami High School, Miami, Florida. Gretchen married Frank Pease on November 12, 1949 in Miami, Florida. Mrs. Pease was a member of First Baptist Church Arlington. She enjoyed crafts, stained glass, church choir, playing piano and Tex-Mex. She took pride in being a homemaker, and loved hymns and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and her sister, Nancy. Survivors include sons Mark Pease and his wife Laura, Rodney Pease and his wife Barbara, daughter Linda Gaston and her husband Larry; her grandchildren, Bryan and his wife Allison, Daniel, Melissa, Christine, and Katie, and five great-grandchildren.
