

Henry R. Humer, age 79 of Sycamore, Ohio died at 2:13 P.M., Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Tiffin Mercy Hospital. He was born on May 8, 1945 in Moon Township, Pennsylvania to John and Hilda (King) Humer. He married Susan (Golling) Humer on August 30, 1969 and she survives in Sycamore.
Surviving are the following children: Betty Humer, Port Isabel, Texas, Joseph (Kathryn) Humer, Arlington, Texas and Rebecca (Jesse) Lorente, Arlington, Texas. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one brother, Samuel (Bertha) Humer, Yuma, Arizona, two sisters, Cathy (Lee) Ball, Phoenix, Arizona and Martha Benjamin, Covington, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Humer, besides his parents.
Henry was a 25-year veteran of the United States Navy and also worked 15 years with L-3 Communications in Texas.
He was a 1964 graduate of Sanpasqual High School and a member of the Sycamore American Legion Post #250. For hobbies, Henry liked to go camping, especially with his motorhome, loved to tell stories, always put out a garden, but really loved spending time with his family.
Visitation: Friday, 5pm-7pm, February 21, 2025 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Dr. Arlington.
Burial with Navy Honors: Desert Lawn Cemetery in Yuma, Arizona under the direction of Desert Valley Mortuary.
