

Jeffrey was the only child born to Gary Don Walden and Sally Louise Summers-Walden-Lynch on September 15, 1966 at the Collin Memorial Hospital in McKinney, Texas. He was known to his friends as Jeff, Red or Big-un.
Jeff took up and loved the sport of archery with his “dad” Gary in 1980. He won the 1983 and 1984 state championship title in archery with the Bow Hunters Association in Irving, Texas. No matter what kind of season the Dallas Cowboys football team was having, Jeff was always a true fan as he enjoyed watching and defending his team. Jeff enjoyed baking, he always wanted to be a chef, but he settled enjoying baking in his own home surprising others with his own creations, whether it on your birthday, holidays or just showing up at your home for a visit.
Jeff worked as a sacker with Burleson Safeway store, Payless Cashway as a stocker and newspaper delivery with the Burleson Star. He later moved to Arlington and worked at the Roadway Inn and Arlington Daily News. He was presently working for Harrah Transportation West Air Field Drive at DFW Airport as a local driver at the time of his death. He is survived by his step-father, Alva Thomas Lynch of Arlington; step-brother, Tommy Lee Lynch and wife Yvonne; step-sister, Deana Lynch-Rogers and husband Joe; two step-nieces, Vickie and Livvy and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. His is preceded in death by his “dad” Gary on October 28, 1987 and his mother, Sally on November 15, 2009; upon his wishes he is being laid to rest at the foot of his parents grave. Family will accept guest for a visitation at Moore Funeral Home, Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Graveside services will be held at Highland Cemetery in Melissa, Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 11:30 am. Brother Trey Graham, Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Melissa will be conducting the service.
