Jeremiah "JP" Provence

Jeremiah “JP” Provence, age 37, of Austin, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024. He was born in Amarillo, Texas on June 9, 1987, to David and Teresa Provence. JP attended Collin County Community College where he pursued a degree in Business Management. While attending college, he had a career in applications management working for Tyler Technology.

JP had many passions and hobbies in his life which included playing community sports, like volleyball and kickball, weightlifting, gaming, attending art battles and riding his motorcycle. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends and having a good barbecue.

JP’s pride and joy was his daughter, Dakota, whom he loved immensely. He demonstrated love, both tough and unconditional to everyone.

Even though he was fighting his own battle, he was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a big advocate for mental health awareness and speaking your truth.

JP is survived by his daughter, Dakota; former wife, Sara; girlfriend, Kaelyn; father, David; mother, Teresa; brothers, Jacob, Joseph and Joshua; sisters, Charity and Raven along with his siblings’ spouses and many nieces and nephews.
