Jerry Kuo-Hsiung Hou, devoted husband and loving father passed on December 10, 2018 to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. Service will be held in his memory on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Arlington Chinese Church 805 Oakwood Lane Arlington, TX 76012. Jerry Kuo-Hsiung Hou was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and he attended Wichita State University, graduating with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. His life is marked by his unwavering dedication, devotion, and love to his family. Jerry worked in various locations over the years, but always came home to Arlington for family meals, tutoring his children in math, and having a good cup coffee while planting a new seed in his garden.
Jerry is the husband of 40 years to Mei-Li Hou; father to Jody (Brian Martin), Tina (David Hiroshima), Cathy, and Kevin; beloved son of Su-Yuan Hou and the late Wan-Yu Hou; brother to Nancy Hou, Wei Li Lee, Kwo Wei Hou, and Hsueh Ping Chang; uncle to Eliza Mei Lee, Meilan Diana Lee, Judy Mei Kuboyama, Lisa Hou, Sherry Mei, Liwen Hou, George Lee, David Chang Jr.
