A loving wife and mother. She was a kind, caring friend who had grace and she wasn’t afraid to show it, she was very humble and very frugal.
Joan worked as a medical secretary in her husband’s family practice. She kept that office running right on schedule.
Anyone who know Joan would say she liked to read, play golf and swim. She loved to entertain, she loved to welcome guests into her home.
Joan and William had their child a bit later in life. When they had Layne, he became Joan’s world. She loved doating on him and showing him off. They had the best of times together. She loved to travel, and she and Layne traveled to places some people only dream of.
In her latter years Joan quietly read, did crossword puzzles and loved to watch the Cowboys. She had a wonderful life and we all will miss her dearly.
