Lee was raised in Reeds Spring, Missouri, and graduated from Reeds Spring High School in 1952. In 1962, she married the love of her life, Lonnie Schooling, and together they raised two sons.
Lee enjoyed a long and dedicated career as a Reservation Agent on the International Desk at Braniff International, where she worked for more than 26 years.
In her free time, she found joy in walking her beloved dog Hadley, sailing, cooking gourmet meals with Lonnie, and spending cherished time with her family and many dear friends. Her greatest joy came from being with her grandchildren, who brought so much love and laughter into her life.
Lee will be remembered as a kind-hearted, thoughtful woman who brought warmth and light to everyone she met. She carried herself with quiet strength and grace, always placing others before herself with humility and love.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Schooling; her parents, Hadley and Maggie Mefford; and her sisters, Marcella Mease and Rosella Allison.
She is survived by her sons, Scott and Todd (Kyla) Schooling; her grandchildren, Evan (Diana) Schooling, Katie (Sean) Lenahan, and Josh (Jackie) Schooling; and her sister, Mary Ann (Frank) King.
Lee's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
