

Linda Napier Huse, age 81, passed away on September 2, 2025, in Grapevine, Texas. She was born on February 10, 1944, in Arlington, Texas, to Neva and Homer Napier. Linda was raised in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School in 1962. In 1963, she married the love of her life, O.C. Huse, and together they raised three daughters.
Linda dedicated over 20 years of service to the Arlington Independent School District, where she held multiple roles and touched the lives of countless students and colleagues.
Outside of her work, Linda found joy in antiquing, shopping, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on her children and grandchildren in their various sports and activities. She especially loved relaxing in the sun, chatting on the phone with loved ones, and spending time with her beloved cat, Whitey Lynn.
Linda will be remembered for her beautiful smile, kind heart, and unwavering support of her family. She was a constant encourager, a source of strength, and a role model of resilience through life’s many challenges.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Neva and Homer Napier.
Linda is survived by her husband, O.C. Huse; daughters Kari (Steve) James, Angie Huse, and Brandie (Brad) Owen; grandchildren Brandon Morrison, Christopher James (C.J.), Mark Lopez, Tina Lopez, and Brooke Huse; multiple great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Her legacy of love, strength, and joy will live on through all who knew and loved her.
