

Margaret Jo Aduddell Moore Carter, 103, of Arlington, TX went peacefully to meet Jesus her Savior Friday, January 10, 2025. Margaret Jo was born September 17, 1921 in Clarendon, Texas to Zachary Jeff and Elizabeth Beulah Dale Aduddell. She graduated from Memphis High School in Memphis, TX in 1939. She worked at the Pounds Cafe in Memphis after she graduated high school then had a long career at GTE Telephone where she retired in the early 1980s. She then moved to Mansfield, TX to work for her sons Eddie Moore and Jeff Moore at Hydro-Flo Inc. Later in life, she received her real estate license to help her sons in a new development project named Arbors of Creekwood in Mansfield, TX.
Margaret Jo loved Jesus her Savior and was a member of First Christian Church in Memphis, TX pastored by Tom Posey. She attended faithfully and was very involved in her church. When she moved to Mansfield, she became a member of First Baptist Church in Mansfield.
Margaret Jo was an amazing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She was also a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend.
Margaret Jo was a talented artist and seamstress. Later in life, she took up ceramics at Mansfield Senior Citizen’s Center and made many ceramic dolls. She loved to design and sew clothes for the dolls as well. Cooking for her family was her favorite. Spending time with her family, who she loved dearly, was her happy place. She was a great storyteller and always had a funny story for us.
She was preceded in death by her mother and dad Elizabeth and Zachary Aduddell, first husband Elmer Cleo Moore in 1987, her second husband Otis Carter in 2005, her son Eddie Clark Moore, daughter-in-law Vicki Jones Moore and Kathie Moore, her sisters Modell, Ann, Pat, Martha and two brothers Jeff (passed away at 2yr), and James. She is survived by her son Jeff Dale Moore, granddaughters Victoria Davis and husband Wiley, Amy Alley and husband Paul, Jennifer Moore, and grandsons Eddie Moore, Jr., Randy Moore, Jeffrey Moore and wife Kim. One daughter-in-law Beverly Moore - Eddie’s wife, many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and caregiver friends at Coral Rehab & nursing who took the best care of her the past 7 years.
