Mark was born in Cuero, Texas, a proud Texan. He was a graduate of Texas A&M Commerce and had a long career in the construction industry. He loved being a project manager and overseeing his jobs to completion.
A long time Arlington resident, a true outdoorsman and avid hunter, he was always happiest being outside. He loved playing golf with the Gangsome at RHCC and giving unsolicited golf tips to his wife of 31 years, Elizabeth.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Larry Halcomb, father-in-law, Joe Lynch and brother-in-law, Mike Jarrett.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Lynch Goodenough, mother, Loretta Halcomb, sister, Tommye and husband, Devin Welch, nephew Dylan Welch and wife, Lauren, and daughter Aubree, niece, Brooke and husband Cole Freeman, mother-in-law, Joan Lynch, Sheila and Bill McCallum, Carol and Don Janni, Teresa Jarrett, Joe Lynch and Sheridan King, nephew, Kevin Janni, nieces Lesley and husband, Russ Hagan, their children, Jarrett and Hayley, Melanie Jarrett, Sarah Lynch and Johnee Fenimore, and Melissa Lynch
