Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 3:30, July 20 at Moore Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors Saturday from 2:30 to 3:30.
Burial will be 1:30, Monday August 1, 2011 at DFW National Cemetery.
Mark was born in Oklahoma City, OK and graduated high school at Captain Shreve High School in Shreveport, LA in 1976. He was a graduate of Eastfield College in 1987 and then the University of North Texas in 1990. Mark served in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne and 1st of the 509th, as well as the Army Infantry. He was a home designer and loved hunting.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Jerre Sue Still Smith of Shreveport and one brother Brett Harris of Canton, Oh.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Suzette Johnson Harris of Mesquite; daughter, Darcy Harris of Mesquite; son, Gavan Harris of Mesquite; his father, James H. Harris of Fort Worth and one uncle, Dallas Lynn Harris of Fort Worth.
