Marsha had 1 child and 3 grandchildren. She gained her early business experience at First National Bank in Cincinnati Ohio. She was such a valued member of the bank that they sent her to college in 1973 to obtain a bachelor’s of science degree. A single mom at the time, she worked full time (and then some) and worked hard at night to get her degree 10 years later.
Later in life, she decided to move to Texas to be close to her family. She worked side by side with her brother, her son, and her nephews and niece at Universal Adcom where she enjoyed being surrounded by family during the day.
Marsha was all about her grandchildren and her favorite thing in the world was taking her family on their many memorable vacations. She loved to see her family having a good time together. Her proudest moments in life are when she saw her grandchildren walk across the stage receiving their college diplomas and watching her oldest walk down that aisle.
She is preceeded in death by her parents, Harry and Anne Gildenblatt; her brothers, Tom and Alan Gildenblatt; her grandson, AJ Alcorn; and nephew Bradley Gildenblatt. Marsha is survived by her son, Marc Alcorn; her grandchildren, Brittinie and wife Natasha and Bryle Alcorn; her sister in law, Phyllis Gildenblatt; nephew and wife, James and Heather Gildenblatt; nieces, Staci and Pamela Gildenblatt; great nephew and wife, Conner and Kennedy Gildenblatt; great nephews, Cale Gildenblatt and Ethan Kenyan; great nieces, Caitlin, Cileigh and Evyn Gildenblatt, and so many more loving friends and relatives in Cincinnati, Oh, and all over the country.
A graveside service will be held the afternoon of Wednesday, June 15, from 2:00-3:00pm at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, TX
Serving as pallbearers are Marc Alcorn, James Gildenblatt, Cale Gildenblatt, Jeff Wolpa, Roy Cardenas, and Mr. Kenneth Webman
