Mary Anne was born June 18, 1948 at Florence Nightingale Hospital in Dallas, Texas, to Elvis Forace Johnson, Sr and Eunice Dorothy Kemp Johnson. After a couple of hit and misses, Mary Anne married her rest of her life partner, Dixie (Moose) Mallory in 1983.
Mary Anne had a smile of sunshine. She was a loving mother, doting Nana and devoted friend to all that knew and loved her. She was fondly called Mert by her nieces and nephews and only they know why they chose that name! Mary Anne attended Sam Houston High School in Arlington, Texas. Not many of her friends and relatives knew that she was an accomplished artist and finished four beautiful oil paintings on canvas before she became ill in 2013. She loved to go dancing to country music and even danced while in her wheelchair in later years.
