Maurice Wolfe

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 10:00am Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Moore Funeral Home.

Maurice was born in Denison, Iowa to Emmet and Inez Wolfe. He married the love of his life, Penny, on Sept. 28, 1963. They recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. He has been a resident of Grand Prairie for 49 years. He co-owned a corporate business in Grand Prairie that required him to work in Killeen, Texas during the week and he traveled home on the weekends for the past 15 years. He was raised on a farm in Denison and continued his passion for it once he moved to Texas. He provided very well for his family and they meant everything to him. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceeded in death by his parents and four brothers; Jim, Dennis, Michael and Robert.

SURVIVORS: His loving wife, Penny Wolfe; children, Dennis Wolfe of Grand Prairie, TX, Kelli Weis (Matt) of Dallas, TX, Shawn Wolfe (Jennifer) of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Aimee Bourn (Andy), Amanda Wolfe, Jacob Weis, Hunter Weis; sisters, Mary Jones (Ken) of Portland, OR, Ramona Damico (Dr. Charles) of Hastings, NE, Therese Wolfe of Portland, OR; brothers, Clement Wolfe (Diane) of Creighton, MO, Vincent Wolfe of Harrisonville, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
