Nancy Evetts Allen

Nancy Evetts Allen, 59, Arlington, Texas passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 after a prolonged illness. Nancy was born March 5, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas to Harold Gene Evetts and the late Norma Jo Moore.

Throughout her life, Nancy had a profound love for all creatures, particularly her horses, dogs and ducks. Her greatest love was for her family and friends. She prayed for all of them often and never missed an opportunity to give a great big hug. Nancy was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, The Daughters of the Republic of Texas and The Former Texas Rangers Association. She enjoyed barrel racing, tennis and volleyball.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Larry of 28 years; her parents Harold and Joye Evetts; sisters: Phyllis Evetts (Charles), Kathy (Jess) Glibert; brother David (Debbie) Lancaster; Father and Mother-in-Law: Robert and Dorothy Allen; sisters-in-law: Cathy (Richard) McCoy, Mary Kay (Barry) Swenson, Jane (Russell) Jones, and Jill (Patrick) Mach; 24 nieces and nephews; 17 great nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Since Nancy loved animals so much, in lieu of flowers, if one so be inclined, a donation to your local SPCA would be in line with family wishes.
