Nhut Van Nguyen

Mr. Nhut Van Nguyen was born on October 10, 1934, in Vietnam, the beloved son of Mr. Doan Phuoc Nguyen and Mrs. Thieu Thi Ha. He grew up in O Mon, Can Tho, where he completed his high school education before answering the call to serve his country.

In 1960, he graduated from the Naval Academy of the Republic of Vietnam and proudly served in the Vietnamese Navy until April 1975. His years in military service were marked by dedication, leadership, and honor.

In the summer of 1985, Mr. Nguyen settled in Texas, USA, where he worked diligently in various roles until his retirement. He was deeply respected and admired by friends and colleagues from both his military and civilian life. He was especially cherished by the Trung Duong Naval Association family in Dallas, whose members held him in great affection and esteem.

Mr. Nguyen passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026, in Grand Prairie, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his beloved spouse, Nhon Thi Bui, and his brother, Tuong Phuoc Nguyen.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Loi Ngoc Nguyen; eldest brother, Trang Phuoc Nguyen; sister, Kim Chi Thi Nguyen; son and daughter-in-law, Chuong Phuc Nguyen and My Hang Thi Dao; grandson, Nguyen Phuc Khoi-Minh; daughters, Nguyen Phuc Chi Lan, Nguyen Phuc Kieu Loan, Nguyen Phuc Kieu Lam and her spouse, Phan Tien Dung, Diem Nguyet Phuc Nguyen; and granddaughter, Thuy Tien Trong Than.

Mr. Nguyen’s life was one of service, resilience, and devotion to family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him.
