Memorial service: 11:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church, 910 S. Collins, Arlington. Interment: private. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home.
Olive Margaret was born Dec. 9, 1912, in Pleasanton, Kan. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and much more. Olive attended First Christian Church, where she achieved diaconate, and in 1994 was named diaconate emeritus. Olive was instrumental in obtaining a Meals On Wheels route for First Christian Church in 1974 and did this for 23 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. "Bob" Maurer.
Survivors: Daughter, Jerrye Maurer; son, Grover Maurer and his wife, Jeanne; brother, Homer David Snider; sisters-in-law, Marie Snider and Billie Snider; grandson, Ward Maurer; granddaughter, Valerie Mawi and her husband, Saki Mawi; granddaughter, Tracey Maurer Poncio and her husband, Adam Poncio; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Poncio; and great-grandson, Alexander Poncio.
