Patricia Marie Montfourt Pierce

Memorial services for Patricia M. Pierce, 75, a resident of Arlington, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Moore’s Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas, 76012.Ms. Pierce passed away December 7, 2014 at Arlington Memorial Hospital. Patricia Pierce was born December 16, 1938 in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated from Covington High School, Covington, Louisiana in 1957.Patricia operated a successful in home day care for over twelve years, touching the lives of many children and parents alike. Patricia was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She enjoyed watching cooking shows, planting flowers, yard work, painting and loved animals. Patricia was predeceased by her parents Archie and Pearlie Booth, sister, Adine Brossette and brother John Henry Rushing.

She is survived by her son William Mays IV, son Rex Mays and wife Pamela, son Charlie Mays and wife Stephanie. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Amber Clarke, Lindsey Mays, Chas Mays, August Mays and Gracie Mays. She had two great grandchildren Aubrey Clarke and Braedyn Clarke.The family wishes to thank the Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital Oncology Nursing staff.
