Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Sunday, August 8, at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, 76012. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Sunday at Moore Funeral Home.
Paul was born March 6, 1931 in Gainesville, Texas to Fred and Bertha Sampert. The last 25 years of Paul's life were spent on his farm in Gilmer, Texas and sitting on the porch with the love of his life, Sara. He had a passion for being outside and working on the land. He was also known for his love of sweets. Paul lead a simple life guided with integrity. He will be greatly missed by all of his family.
Survivors: wife of 67 years, Sara Sampert; daughters, Diana Jones and husband, Jon, and Kathy Riddle and husband, Brian; grandchildren, Quentin Jones and wife, Shelley, and Chris Riddle; great-grandchildren, Dawson Jones, Kyler Jones, and Jaxon Jones; and brother, Eddie Sampert and wife, Phyllis.
