Pedro Theodoro “Ted” Cantu, 53, of Arlington passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in Fort Worth. As were his wishes, he will be cremated. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 16, 2:00 pm at Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Arlington.
Ted was born May 3, 1961 in Clovis, New Mexico, to Jose Maria Cantu and Dolores Nuncio Cantu. He was self-employed for 20 years as a welder and was the proud father of three children. Ted enjoyed welding and riding his Harley. He could often be found on a toy run or other fundraiser for children.
Mr. Cantu was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Dolores Cantu and by his sister Leonora Cantu.
He is survived by his three children, Melissa Galvan, Jeff Cantu and Samantha Eason, five grandchildren; Francisco Javier Galvan, Jay Manuel Galvan, Andrew James Galvan, Alexis Marie Wilson and Wade Thomas Eason, and ten siblings Jose Cantu, Lupe Molsbee, Art Cantu, Sam Cantu, Angelita Cantu, Alex Cantu, Jose A Cantu, Maggie Cantu, Johnny Cantu, and Jolinda Cantu.
