Peyton Michael Smith

Peyton Smith, 20, was born to Heather Young and Kevin Smith on August 27, 2005 in Clovis, New Mexico. After graduating St. Clair County High School in Alabama in 2023, Peyton proudly served as an aircraft refueler for fuels management in the United States Air Force until December 2025.

In his free time, Peyton loved working on his truck and car, always looking for the next upgrade or project. He enjoyed building large-scale Legos, and spending hours gaming with his friends and siblings.

Peyton valued finding ways to help his friends and anyone in need. Peyton will be remembered most for his goofy spirit and ability to make those around him laugh.

He is survived by his mother Heather Young and husband Jason of Whiteman AFB, MO, father Kevin Smith and wife Heather of Flower Mound, TX. Sister Annabelle Young and brothers Carson and Beau Smith. Great Grandparents Jerry and Sandy Beeson of Phoenix, AZ. Grandparents Roger and Janet Smith of Leesburg, OH, Phil and Malinda Williams of Collinsville, TX, Shandra Forsha of Springfield OH, Jason and Sandy Snyder of Arlington TX, Debra Beeson Gallagher of Omaha NE, Judy Young of Pell City AL. Aunts Charlotte Kinsmith and husband Brock of Columbus, OH, and Dawn Miller of Omaha, NE. Uncles Keith and wife Stacey of Washington C.H., OH, Mike Annon of Washington C.H., OH, Nick Williams and wife Kelly of Fort Worth, TX, Michael Young and wife Laura Alcoriza of New Orleans, LA. Cousins Audrey Young, Brayden Smith, Coltyn Williams, Brooklynn Williams, Ashlynn Williams, Dalton Mayer, Wyatt Mayer, Shelby Mayer, Braydon Miller, Bentley Miller, and Grayson McPeck.

He is preceded in death by Aunt Kelly Annon, Grandfathers Kevin Forsha and Charles Young

A service will be held at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
