Rick and I became friends in kindergarten. He was a wonderful man who loved his family. He had a great laugh, and I will miss him.  My prayers are with his family.

Rick was one of a kind.  He was my big brother at NTSU as well.  He was there for me when I needed his support.

I am so glad I spent an evening with Rick at Norman William's home on my second annual TEXAS trip in April 2012 to  .revisit my fraternity brothers in Dallas and Austin. Typical Rick, always the devoted family man, he brought a family album collage with him. Sorry,I can't fly in from Colorado,where we retired to from Atlanta in 2010 for Rick's funeral service. I will dearly miss him !!!

My big brother, what can I say? I drove him crazy for 8 years. He was 10 years older than me and I was definitely the bratty little sister. As a teenager, he kept our parents from killing me several times LOL! When I graduated from Baylor with my nursing degree he was busting with pride. He was a great big brother and it is very hard to think about what the rest of my life is going to be like without him. Karen, Courtney, Brian, Trent, Malica and Beckett, you were loved mightily by him. God comfort you as you work through this time of grief.

Rick and I met our freshman year (1965) at North Texas State University.  He roomed across the hall from me in the old West Dorm and there we became good friends.  We both pledged Delta Sigma Phi and became fraternity brothers.  In 1968 Rick was a groomsman in Ann's and my wedding.  It is very hard to say "good-bye" to such a first class guy.  Rest in peace, Rick.

So sorry to hear of Ricks passing.  I met Rick when I pledged DSP at NTSU in Denton.  Wow was I surprised  how he treated us pledges.  He was very nice to all of us & left the exciting things pledges go thur to the other members.  Really!  We had some great times at the house after I became a member, that I will never forget & some of the members wont either.  He was a great person to be around as he had that great personality of a fine man.  God bless you Karen & family & members of DSP as we all go thur these times of grief.  We will all miss him for sure.

Rick, You will be missed by all.  Such a wonderful, caring person. Devoted to your family and all the ones you cared for.  I learn so much from you.  My heart and prayers go out to all your family.

May God be with you in this time of sorrow. I too will miss Rick. One of the many things I loved about Rick was that he loved his family so very much.

I had the privilege of knowing Rick through the Wellington were my grandmother resides.  He was a wonderful person, kind, and caring.  What I most admired about him was the respect with which he treated everyone he met.  We all are better for having known him. He will be missed by many. May God comfort your family during this most difficult time.

Rick was among the most caring fathers and grandfathers I've known. My love to you all.

I worked with Rick at Total Home Health and I learned a lot from him. He was a great guy, knowledgeable. He will be missed by many.
