

'Bobby' as he was known, was born in Snyder Texas on October 19, 1935 and graduated high school from Austin High in El Paso, Texas.
He was married to his beloved wife Yvonne for 60 years and remained a dedicated and doting husband until she passed away.
Robert was a retired Master Sargent in the US Army and counselor for the State of Texas, prison system. He had a passion for weight lifting along with actively cruising across the world with Yvonne.
He was a Master Mason, a Shriner, and a member of the Sweet Home Lodge at the Texas Masonic Retirement Center.
Robert is survived by his three sons, Wes Brownfield of Phoenix, Billy Wayne Brownfield of Chaparral New Mexico, and Robert Scott Brownfield of Angleton. He had eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren and a sister, Marjorie Kay Abendschan of Abilene.
Funeral ceremony will be held November 3rd at 9 am at TMRC in Arlington with interment following at the DFW National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers Robert would have preferred donations to the No Mason Left Behind Project through the Texas Masonic Retirement Center of Arlington.
A funeral service for Robert will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 9:00 AM at Texas Masonic Retirement Center, 1501 West Division Street, Arlington, TX 76012. Following the funeral service will be a committal service with military honors at 11:00 AM at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
