

KELLER, TEXAS – Roland Edward Moore, beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, and respected dentist, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends during his final days.
Roland was born in Kermit, Texas, and raised in Odessa. He graduated from Odessa High School in 1962 and went on to attend Texas Christian University (TCU), where he was a proud Sigma Chi alumnus. He later graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas in 1973. Dr. Moore devoted more than 50 years to his profession, serving his patients with skill, integrity, and compassion. He was more than a dedicated dentist—he was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and a cherished mentor and friend whose warmth, humor, and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Roland was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Leon “T-Bone” Moore and Florine Howell Moore. He is survived by his sister, Cecilia Moore Hadley. In 1966, he married Beverly Moore Sikes, with whom he had three children: K’Lee Riddle and her husband David, Andrea Collins and her husband Chris, and Roland Edward Moore II and his wife Alex. In 1993, Roland married Miriam Moore, and together they had a daughter, Franchesca Moore.
He is also survived by his nephew, Keith Hadley, and his daughter Mariah Hadley; his grandchildren: Kami Askew and her husband Keaton, David “DJ” Riddle and his wife Molly, Taylor Wallace and her husband Zach, Devon Collins, Mackenzie Moore, Madison Moore, and Dean Collins; and his great-grandchildren: Kyler Askew, David “Dos” Riddle, Kanon Askew, Kamry Askew, Jordan Riddle, and Anderson Wallace. His legacy of love, dedication, and kindness lives on through each of them.
A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Drive Arlington, TX 76012.
