Ronald L. Carroll

Ronald graduated from Maggie L. Walker High School in Richmond Virginia. He then received his Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, and Doctorate Degree from Angelo State University. Ronald was married to Mary L. Carroll on December 29, 1973.

Ronald had a career in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He was ordained as a minister at Galilee Baptist Church in San Angelo, Texas and reigned as an Administrator of Education at TLCA in Arlington, Texas for 7 years during his 27 years in education. He also served on the board of the SAISD in San Angelo, Texas. Ronald's passions were playing golf, fishing, and he adored his family.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Mary L. Carroll; his two children: La’Drena Carroll-Lafayette and La’Shanda Robinson; and his angels, 3 grandchildren: Aliyah, Kalice, and Trinity Robinson. Also his lovely extended family he cherished: Louis Robinson; Victoria Carroll-Lafayette; and one brother, Keith L. Holmes; as well as a host of family including the Aarons, Thomas, Milligans, Barnes, Boldens, and Adams families. He cherished them all.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 5:00-8:00pm at Moore Funeral Home on Davis Road in Arlington, Texas. The homegoing service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00am at The Life Church located at 2001 Brown Blvd. Arlington, Texas 76006. Ronald will be laid to rest at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
