

Interment: 1:00 pm Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Family and Friends are asked to arrive at the cemetery no later than 12:45 pm.
Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home.
Rosie was born in Texarkana, Arkansas on December 3, 1924 and married Everett L. McLaughlin on February 9, 1944.
She had many different jobs in her lifetime and during WWII she was a riveter (“Rosie the Riveter”) on B-24 Liberator bombers at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth. She also worked at Stripling’s Department Store and retired from the Arlington Public School District as a cook.
Rosie had a passion for working outside in the garden. She was an excellent cook and baker and made the best pies and cakes. She was also a seamstress and made clothes for the family and taught her daughters Jaclynne and Terry the skill.
Rosie is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Everett L. McLaughlin, parents John and Pearl Tucker, brother Orval Tucker and sister Jewell Alexander.She was survived by her children, Douglas McLaughlin, Jaclynne Taylor and Terry Green, seven grandchildren and numerous great grand children.
