Ruth was a good friend and next door neighbor years ago in McGregor, Texas. We always enjoyed visiting with her and her family. She was a sweet lady, and I and my family will be praying for Peggy and Bobby as they go through this sad time.

She was such a wonderful mother to all of us cadets, helping us all with the little bit that we needed at the time. I'll always remember her kindness.

Ruth saved me from myself so many times as a cadet it's not funny. What a great lady she was. She touched many lives and we will all really miss her.

I knew Ruth when see was the HR administrator in the ROTC Department at the University of Texas at Arlington. She was always there for us not just doing her job...but looking out for us like a Mom would...giving us advice and encouragement. I enjoyed linking back up with her of Facebook over the last several years. She took care of 300 cadets getting commissioned over the years...some of them retiring as Generals...that is part of her legacy!
