Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington. Visitation: 1 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service.

Marie was born Jan. 31, 1925, in Haskell to Charlie M. and Minnie Morgan. She was the youngest of 11 children. She lived in Streetman. After graduation she went to work for Vought Aircraft in August 1948 and retired from Vought in September 1981. Marie was a member of the Eastern Star, an avid bowler and loved to travel. She loved life and her many relatives and friends.
Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Joseph Robert Brooks; her parents; and all of her siblings.
Marie's family would like to express gratitude for the loving care given to her by the nurses and staff of the Isles of WaterCrest in Mansfield.
Survivors: Numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends who will miss her.
