

She was born on March 13, 1963, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Ray and Kathryn (Merrill) Thompson. Her family moved around before settling in Papillion, Nebraska, where she attended Papillion-La Vista High School in 1981.
Her career path led her to Lucky Lady Oil Company in 1986. She dedicated 15 years of service working in various roles as a store manager, auditor, and supervisor. She left Lucky Lady to focus on caring for her family.
Shari married James Klingensmith on October 13, 1995, in Arlington, Texas. Their union of 30 years was a testament to their enduring love and partnership. Their faith was the foundation of the life they built together.
Simple things made Shari the happiest, such as baking, dancing, singing, listening to music, and spoiling her two cats. Her greatest joy, though, was caring for and spending time with her beloved family.
Shari will be remembered by all who loved her for her bright smile, fun-loving spirit, caring nature, kindness, strength, and her unending love for her family. She was truly blessed by faith, family, and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Kathryn Thompson and Ray Thompson, brother Kent Thompson, grandparents Ted and Eva Thompson, Linden and Frances Merrill, uncle and aunt, Don and Sallie Thompson, and father-in-law Bernard Klingensmith.
Survived by her husband James Klingensmith, son Michael Stuart and wife Leonor, all of Arlington, TX, daughter Amanda Patke and husband Philip of North Charleston, SC, granddaughter Olivia Stuart, sisters Lori Lax, Kelly Bleigh and husband Richard all of Arlington, TX, niece, Lindsey Townsend and husband Clay of McKinney, TX, nephew Kyle Bleigh of Arlington, TX, grandnieces Addison and Emily Townsend of McKinney, TX, uncles and aunts, Melvin Merrill and wife Kathy of Davis, OK, and Perry Merrill and wife Margaret of Hyannis, MA.
A private family service will be held to celebrate Shari's beautiful life.
